With the Amex Blue Card, you can enroll in Blue's free rewards program called Membership Reward Options program. With each dollar charged to your Blue Card account, you earn 1 point. For every 2500 point, you can exchange for 1 Rapid Reward credits. Since the points do not expire, you can redeem them for Rapid Reward credits only when you need to. If you try to return a designated item within 90 days from the date of purchase and the store won't take it back, American Express will refund the full purchase price, up to $300 per item, and up to a maximum of $1000 annually per Cardmember Account.

The Purchase Protection Plan protects a covered item purchased with the Credit Card against accidental damage and theft for up to 90 days from the date of purchase. Q: How to link my frequent flyer/guest account to my Membership Rewards account
To transfer points for an air or hotel reservation, your frequent flyer/guest account must be linked to your Membership Rewards account.
1. Log in to your Membership Rewards online statement. Enter your User ID and Password to access your account.
2. Click "View Points"
3. Click "Link or enroll in another frequent traveler program" and follow the instructions to add your account.
Q: How to transfer points online to my frequent flyer/guest account
Transferring points is easy.
1. Link your frequent flyer/guest account to your Membership Rewards account. See above for instructions. This is a necessary first step.
2. Find the airline or hotel rewards you want. Search by category on the Home page or the Travel rewards pages. Or select a partner from the Hotel rewards or Air rewards pages.
3. Click "Transfer Now" from the rewards detail page. If you're not already logged in, enter your User ID and Password to continue.
4, Enter the number of Membership Rewards points to transfer and click "Submit." Note: click "Submit" only once.
5. Print the "Thank You" page as your confirmation.
